- Creator and Facilitaor
 R.E.C.E., B.A; RYT

I believe working with children is a co-creative experience involving active listening, creativity, humour, openness,  honour and respect.
Every child is unique and valuable, with something to teach and something to learn.

The natural world provides a learning rich foundation to enhance developmental skills and children’s inherent potential as growing citizens of the world.
Our programing inspires curiosity, ignites passion and builds lifelong connections to nature through early learning experiences. To be advocates for nature in the future children need to make these connections now!

I am a mother, educator and nature enthusiast.
I recieved my R.E.C.E from Mothercraft College and my B.A in Early Childhood Studies at Ryerson University. My background also includes training in Shamanic and Holistic medicine and Kundalini yoga.

My love for the natural world and connection to the creature teachers infuses and inspires every class.

Michaela Bekenn

I am an interdisciplinary singer-songwriter, dancer, storyteller, theatre actor, yoga practitioner, and expressive arts facilitator with youth and seniors. It is an honour to hold space for curiousity, imagination, self-discovery, and innate creativity to be sparked and nurtured within people of many ages and abilities. I strongly believe we are most holistically well when we are immersed in the natural world and connected to our community.

My roots spring from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, where I was steeped in the fusion of the arts and the natural world. I grew up within the Shaw Festival Theatre community, where both my parents and I spent many seasons as actors. I completed my BA in English, Drama and Music at the University of Toronto, and my Yoga Teacher Training with the Sivananda Centre. I am currently pursuing personal studies in expressive arts therapy, early childhood education, sound healing and other wellness modalities. It is a joy to be part of the Rainbow Rhythm Kids team, facilitating nature mysteries, sing-a-longs, dance jams, storytelling, eco crafts, yoga and more.

Children of today are the caretakers of tomorrow. I believe every child has a unique gift and story to tell. When we tune into the whisperings of the Earth we begin to fulfill our duty as peacekeepers and stewards of the planet. Nature is a boundless playground, limitless canvas, ancient storybook, and timeless teacher.
